Pierre-Yves earned a Master’s Degree in Management (1984) and an MBA in Financial Management from Lyon Business School.
He held the position of auditor and then CFO in various IT services companies at Atos, when it was known as the Sligos Group.
He then served as Managing Director of MJ Informatique, a French holding entity of a dozen companies specialising in software publishing, IT services, training and distribution.
In 1992 he founded Euro Fi Conseils, a mergers and acquisitions consulting firm specialised in the IT sector, which was ranked Number 1 in its field in France in 1999 by Capital Finance magazine. The company joined the Apax Partners Group in mid-1999 and Pierre-Yves became a partner director of Apax Partners & Cie Finance. He was responsible for the information and technologies sector within the merchant bank and advised a large number of managers on their strategy for expansion in France and Europe.
As of the mid-2000s he was Chairman of Access2Net, an investment fund specialised in enterprise software, where he remains Chairman of the Board. He founded APM.
Jean-Claude BERTAUT - Partner
Jean-Claude graduated from ESSEC Business School in 1965 and started his career at Kodak before joining the Steria Group in 1970.
From 1971 to 1986 he was in charge of founding the banking department at Steria Group and became Sales Manager in 1986. In 1987 he was appointed Managing Director in charge of international business and opened Steria branches in several countries.
In 1991, he became Managing Director of ADC, an upfront investment fund, of which he became Chairman in 1995 until Access2Net took it over in 2001. He joined APM upon its founding.
Sébastien DRAY - Partner
Sébastien holds a degree from ESLSCA Paris and a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering (Lyon Business School). He started his career as a financial analyst in mergers and acquisitions at Apax Partners (industry sector).
Two years later in 2001, he joined the corporate finance team of Dôme Close Brothers investment bank, where he represented clients in several major transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and raising capital in the industry, automotive and service sectors.
He joined APM in early 2005, where he provides consulting services and participates in the firm’s development, especially thanks to his expertise in financial assessment and capital structuring (LBO/OBO).
Timothy graduated from ESC Compiègne Business School in 1996. He started out as Partner-owner of BnV Consultants, Belgian IT services company focus on ERP integration (PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Siebel and Oracle BI) in Belgium, NL and UK sold to Business & Decision. He then joined Business & Décision, French IT Services group, as CFO for Region (Benelux, Italy, Poland, Russia, Germany) and Life Science COO before becoming Independent Advisor for external growth at Alten, French engineering and technology consulting group. He has over 15 years’ experience in general and financial management role.
He joined APM in early 2016, bringing his know-how in M&A, in targeted acquisitions spanning primarily Benelux, Switzerland, Portugal and Austria in the Engineering & Information Technology sector
Pascal holds a Master's Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering (Sorbonne). He started out as a credit analyst in the Large Enterprises department of KBC Bank. He continued his career by joining HSBC in 2004 as an M&A and fund-raising analyst, where he worked on mid-market deals in various sectors.
He joined APM in mid-2005, bringing his know-how in M&A and in-depth financial analysis.
Aby holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Expertise and Financial Risks Management and an MBA in Corporate Finance. She started her career as a consultant at FCS Consulting where she assisted her clients with fund-raising and M&A transactions.
Keen to further her experience in the technology field, she brought her financial skills to APM in mid-2010.
Yoann graduated from EFREI Engineer School, and holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from ESSEC Business School.
He began his career during two years as an IT Consultant for Capgemini Consulting before joining during eighteen months UI Gestion, a French Private Equity fund specialized in SME development.
He joined APM in early 2016, bringing his knowledge of the Information Technology sector and his skills in corporate finance.
Christophe graduated with a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering and Tax Strategies from the Sorbonne Management School. He began his career as a corporate finance analyst at the AlterValor Finance consulting firm, where he worked on several fund-raising and M&A transactions on behalf of SMEs in various sectors.
He joined APM in early 2014, bringing his knowledge of financial engineering.
